During a corporate career including stints with several Fortune 200 companies including Digital Equipment, Schlumberger, Brooks Automation, Martin Marietta, AMAX (mining), W.R. Grace, Bob has held senior leadership positions in Finance, Supply Chain management, IT and Consulting. He is a recognized expert in the functional area of Financial Planning and Analysis and a technical expert in Corporate Performance Management (CPM) systems.
Bob has earned certifications from the Institute for Management Accounting (IMA) in Management Accounting (CMA) and Financial Management (CFM) and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) from the CFP Board of Standards, Inc. He also is a certified Adaptive Insights developer and a certified Anaplan modelbuilder.
He holds a B.S degree in Operations Research engineering and an MBA, majoring in Finance, both from New York University/Stern . He is an active member with the Financial Executives Institute (FEI), Financial/Senior Executives Networking Groups (FENG/SENG), AAII and the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
He’s also served as Chief Financial Officer for several non-profit organizations including Partners in Performance Excellence (PIPEX), a MA/NY/RI educational organization assisting companies implement Baldrige principles for performance excellence and Congregation Beth Elohim, a non-profit religious institution in Acton, MA. He also volunteers as a coach and mentor for EforAll, an accelerator located in Lowell MA.
