Bob Katz, President and Founder of F.A.C.T.S. (Financial Analysis and Control Technology Services LLC), is a recognized authority in strategic execution and corporate performance management (CPM) applications including Adaptive Planning. Prior to launching F.A.C.T.S, Bob held senior financial and operating positions with several Fortune 200 companies, including Schlumberger, Digital Equipment/Compaq Computer, Brooks Automation, AMAX Mining, Martin Marietta and W.R Grace. He advises several local start-ups and serves as a mentor, coach and judge to the Merrimack Valley Sandbox and the Venture Forum (formerly WPI Venture Forum).
Bob has earned certifications from the Institute for Management Accounting (IMA) in Management Accounting (CMA) and Financial Management (CFM) and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) from the CFP Board of Standards, Inc. He holds a B.S degree in Operations Research engineering and an MBA, majoring in Finance, both from New York University. He has been/is an active member with the Financial Executives Institute (FEI), Financial/Senior Executives Networking Groups (FENG/SENG) and the Financial Planning Association (FPA). He’s also served as Chief Financial Officer for Congregation Beth Elohim, a non-profit religious institution in Acton, MA.
